  • Don’t use sequential numbers, full words or personal information.
  • Don’t use the same password on multiple devices.
  • Change your password regularly.
  • Face or fingerprint recognition makes devices faster and more secure.
  • Try password managers that instantly create and store passwords for you.
  • Secure your debit card on your mobile with Card Valet.

  • If your EMV credit card is lost or stolen, call 1 (833) 337-6075
  • You can cancel the missing card and order a replacement.
  • You can also cancel via online banking.
  • If using an ATM, cover the keypad while entering PIN.
  • Don’t share your PIN with anyone.
  • Don’t store your PIN with your debit card.
  • Only use ATMs at familiar banks.
  • Don’t use public WiFi access for financial transactions.
  • You will see a warning that says it is not secure.
  • Only make purchases on a secure network.
  • If you don’t know the phone number, let it go to voicemail.
  • If you answer unsolicited phone calls, don’t give out information.
  • Better to immediately hang up. Do not engage in any way.
  • Criminals use many tricks.
  • They may send you an email address or text message that seems to be from a business/person you know.
  • Hackers use email addresses & phone numbers that seem real.
  • Delete any suspicious messages.
  • Never click any unfamiliar links or attachments.
  • Keep all your phones apps up-to-date.
  • Do not click on any unsolicited links.
  • Keep your phone locked with a passcode.
  • Don’t leave apps open when not in use.
  • Fully log off when you’re finished.
  • Don’t ever have a false sense of security.
  • If victimized, immediately notify all financial institutions.
  • Put a security freeze on your credit. Ask us how.
