Create Strong Passwords

Guard Your PIN

  • If using an ATM, cover the keypad while entering PIN.
  • Don’t share your PIN with anyone.
  • Don’t store your PIN with your debit card.
  • Only use ATMs at familiar banks.

Exercise Caution Online

  • Don’t use public WiFi access for financial transactions.
  • You will see a warning that says it is not secure.
  • Only make purchases on a secure network.

Recognize Phone Scams

  • If you don’t know the phone number, let it go to voicemail.
  • If you answer unsolicited phone calls, don’t give out information.

Beware of Phishing

  • Criminals use many tricks.
  • They may send you an email address or text message that seems to be from a business/person you know.
  • Hackers use email addresses & phone numbers that seem real.
  • Delete any suspicious messages.
  • Never click any unfamiliar links or attachments.

Practice Phone Safety

  • Keep all your phones apps up-to-date.
  • Do not click on any unsolicited links.
  • Keep your phone locked with a passcode.
  • Don’t leave apps open when not in use.
