September 4, 2025 – Worcester, MA – Bay State Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of James A. Ciociolo as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. James joins the Bank after more than 15 years with TD, where he built a strong track record of helping businesses across Central Massachusetts grow and thrive. His addition reflects the continued momentum of Bay State Bank’s expanding commercial banking team.
Anthony J. Pasquale, Chief Commercial Banking Officer, welcomed the opportunity to work alongside James again.

A Worcester native, James holds an MBA from Assumption University and a BSBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. His professional development includes the RMA Loan Officer Resident Seminar, RMA Commercial Real Estate Certification, Six Sigma Business Excellence (White and Yellow Belt), and TD University’s Credit Analysis Program.
James is also deeply involved in the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Worcester Economic Club and has been a member of the Worcester Young Businessmen’s Association since 2009. His prior service includes roles with NEADS, Worcester Country Club, Special Olympics Massachusetts, and the North Central MA Development Corporation, where he contributed to expanding access to capital for small businesses.
